Not ready to hang up your skis? It's prime skiing right now at Beartooth Pass. Sure it's a challenging boot pack hike to reach the challenging (yet ski-able) terrain at nearly 11,000 ft. But you gotta earn your runs this time of year. A group of friends did just that last weekend. Here are some of the awesome pictures that made me extremely jealous:

My friends set off for The Beartooth Highway last weekend to reach Beartooth Pass near Red Lodge. The high altitude allows for snowfall in the middle of summer, and great skiing (if you're in pretty good shape). You've got to boot pack it to reach most drops. These guys skied Beartooth Headwall over the weekend, and one of my buddies (who we will now name Rain Man) said it was 707 steps to the top. They stopped off at Red Lodge Brewery afterwards to complete the day (and reason for my envy...that's one of my favorite breweries). Here are the pictures:
