Henry Cho Bringing His Empty Nest Tour to Montana This Summer
Henry Cho’s Montana Tour Dates
Comedy fans in Montana will have two chances to catch one of America's most beloved stand-up comedians when Henry Cho brings his Empty Nest Tour to Butte and Missoula later this summer. Cho is scheduled to perform at the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte on July 30 and the George and Jane Dennison Theatre in Missoula on July 31.
Celebrating 40 Years in Stand-Up Comedy
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Cho ahead of his Montana visit. The veteran comedian is celebrating 40 years in stand-up comedy and shows no signs of slowing down. While many performers begin thinking about retirement after four decades on the road, Cho says he's ready to work even more now that his children have grown up and left home—an experience that inspired the name of his current tour.

Cho is also one of the few comedians ever inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, a distinction he proudly discussed during our conversation. His clean, family-friendly style has made him a favorite with audiences across the country, proving that great comedy doesn't need profanity to be funny.
Outside of comedy, Cho is an avid golfer. During his Montana stop, he plans to spend some time on the links, including rounds in Hamilton and Butte. A former scratch golfer, Cho joked that age has taken a little bit off his game, but not his love for the sport.
Whether he's talking about family life, cultural experiences, or everyday observations, Cho's relatable storytelling continues to connect with audiences after four decades in comedy.
