Much colder temps and snow are on the way to southwest Montana this weekend. Some towns should expect several inches of snow to fall on city streets, not just high elevations.

Snow forecast (four inches possible) by Sunday night:

  • BOZEMAN: 4 inches
  • BIG SKY (Meadow Villiage): 5+ inches
  • LIVINGSTON: 4 inches

Temperatures are expected to hit the freezing mark in the Gallatin Valley this Saturday, September 28. Interesting fact to throw in is that in 2018, the first freezing temperature of the season hit on Saturday, September 29.

Is this Mother Nature's way of telling us that she is on a schedule? We sure think so.
