Montana’s Favorite Fall Event Is Happening THIS Weekend!
We all love the charming town of Livingston, and the beautiful drive there from Bozeman doesn't hurt, either.
Livingston is not only home to many locally owned businesses and restaurants, but it also hosts the Yellowstone Harvest Festival. This yearly event is family-friendly and one that the locals look forward to every fall.
If you haven't been to Yellowstone Harvest Festival and this will be your first time attending, here are a few things you have to look forward to.
16 hours of music from some of Montana's favorites, like Little Jane & the Pistol Whips, who are straight out of Southwest Montana. Everyone around the state knows that when Little Jane & the Pistol Whips show up, you are bound to have a good time.
You'll also hear music from Jessie Veeder. Veeder is from my family's hometown of Watford City, ND, and growing up I would always hear about this young girl who was so incredibly talented, and now you can see what they were all talking about. From Americana to folk, Veeder sings about her roots.
Along with many other artists performing throughout the weekend, you are also going to have over 50 food, beer, and craft vendors to choose from—there will be something for everyone. This is the perfect event to get those Christmas gifts for the "we want something made in Montana" people in your lives.
For all of you runners out there, they have you covered as well. You can hit up the 5k with the family before the snow hits. We know that isn't too far away, whether we are ready for it or not.
If you have family in town this weekend and want to give them an opportunity to see how Montana comes together for fun to support local communities and vendors, this is your opportunity! Make it a date in Livingston THIS weekend (September 24th AND 25th). Don't miss out and have to wait until next year—get in on all the fun. The Yellowstone Harvest Festival, 170 Old Clyde Park Rd in Livingston, MT. See you there!
