Montana State University Extension in Gallatin County will host a composting workshop on Tuesday, September 8 in Bozeman. Participants will learn various basic composting methods and cold climate tips and tricks. RSVP here.

The MSU Extension Composting Workshop will take place at Broken Ground Permaculture, 1505 Bridger Drive in Bozeman. Kareen Erbe, master composter, will instruct the class.

The workshop will feature a hands-on demonstration of creating a hot compost pile. Participants will learn what is necessary to create their own compost pile at home. Cost is $10.
