MSU Men’s Basketball Wins 2019 Spartan Invitational Championship

The Montana State Men's Basketball team are the 2019 Spartan Invitational champions.

The Bobcats went 3-0 against opponents in the tournament over the weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Bobcats defeated Appalachian State 59-56 on Friday,  UNCG 67-66 Saturday, and topped it off with a victory against Tennessee Tech (52-39) on Sunday to claim the Spartan Invitational Championship.

Harald Frey scored the top highlight from the weekend after sinking a massive 55-foot basket from beyond the half court line on Saturday against UNCG.

The Bobcats have a two-day break before hitting the road to face Grand Canyon in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday.
