Montana State University will observe American Indian Heritage Day with a variety of FREE events on Friday, September 26 on MSU's Centennial Mall (behind Montana Hall).

The events, scheduled from 11 am - 1:30 pm on September 26, pay tribute to the cultural legacy and societal contributions of Native American people in Montana and the U.S. They include dance demonstrations, musical and comedy performances, a drum presentation from the Bobcat Singers and local pow wow dancers, a workshop by Native artists Ben Pease, Alisha Fisher and Louis Still Smoking, and a tipi presentation.
