The 9th Annual Girls For A Change conference, "Operation Innovation" is happening on Saturday, February 9 at Montana State University. Registration is open for all girls in grades 8 - 12.

Thrive's annual Girls For A Change conference is Saturday, February 9, aimed at empowering Montana girls while helping them embrace their future. The conference keynote for 2013 is Red Ants Pants founder and owner, Sarah Calhoun. She was among entrepreneurs invited to the White House to attend the Business Leaders' Forum on Jobs and Economic Competitiveness, was named the 2012 Women in Business Champion for Montana and was selected as the National Women in Business Champion.

Elke Govertsen, of Mamalode magazine in Missoula, will deliver this year's opening keynote address. Govertsen is an entrepreneur and mom. She publishes Mamalode, does creative work, custom publishing, small business coaching, speaking, photography and writing.
