Search and Rescue Responds to Vehicle in Gallatin River
According to Gallatin County authorities, on Saturday morning at approximately 1:43 a.m., Gallatin County dispatch received a report that a vehicle had left the roadway and gone into the Gallatin River on U.S. Highway 191, at mile-marker 70.
Members from Gallatin Gateway Fire Department, Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and Montana Highway Patrol responded.
When members of the rescue team arrived on the scene there was an undetermined number of occupants in the vehicle.
After surveying the scene, it was determined that a 27-year-old Bozeman man was the only occupant of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported from the site of the crash.
The case was turned over to Montana Highway Patrol to investigate.
