Sleeping Giant Ski Area is a just a short drive for us here in Bozeman but after this year, it will be no more.

The mountain is run as a nonprofit but the problem is they have been running at a deficit of $200,000 per year.

That's a lot of money. With the mild winter we are having too, that deficit might be bigger this year.

This isn't the first time it closed down too. The mountain closed in 2004 and reopened in 2009.
