Smith River Permit Lottery Applications Will Be Accepted Now Through February 20

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks requires a permit to float the beautiful 59-mile stretch of the Smith River between Camp Baker and Eden Bridge. Permits are awarded each year through a lottery system. Applications for the Smith River Permit lottery will be accepted between January 6 - February 20. They are available online and at FWP offices. There is a $10 non-refundable application fee. The results will be posted online on March 4.
