According to the Gallatin County Sheriff's office, it appears that a stray bullet ricocheted off a street sign early Sunday morning and ended up IN a residence. 

Thankfully, the residents of the home were were not struck by the stray bullet.

  • It is believed that around 2:00am on Sunday morning, one or more shots were fired from a moving vehicle. One of the shots fired ricocheted off a street sign and entered a residence.
  • The residence is located near the intersection of Sourdough and Goldenstein.
