2011

There's been a lot of talk in recent days around our office about how we want to change. (The list that my co-workers have suggested for me is quite large.) Anyway, I plan on not buying more food. At least not for the next couple of weeks. The Wolfe house is STOCKED with too much darned food.

2012 is almost upon us, which means "the best of" lists are almost over. I do wish I could put together a "Best Books of 2011" list.

Of course there will be a part 2.....but only when we hear what your best concert was. So, was it indoors? Outdoors? Downtown? Big Sky? Out of town? Small club? Huge venue?

It's become the official kick off to the winter season - Join The MOOSE at the 2011 AVALAUNCH in downtown Bozeman November 10th - 12th, 2011.

I'm not much for watching awards shows but I DO like to see who ended up winning....hence, our list at a glance!

The American Kennel Club has released its annual list of the most popular dog breeds in the U.S., based on registration statistics, and the Labrador Retriever has topped the list for the 20th year in a row. Like over-the-top outfits and gushing acceptance speeches, shocking nomination snubs are part of the tradition of the Oscars. This year, fans are crowing about the exclusions of Mark Whalbergh for "The Fighter" and "Ryan Gosling" for "Blue Valentine." We've rounded up some all of the best performances that didn't get recognition at the big show.

Come this February 27th, we will see who the Academy decides created the most movie magic and will bring home an Oscar. James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be hosting the event alongside a star studded group of presenters. We've got all of the nominations courtesy of the Academy right here. Perhaps one of the biggest live music questions of 2011 is, "Will the Rolling Stones hit the road for another world tour?" Some band members clearly want to take the stage, but Jagger seems unhappy with Richards' book, and isn't committing. Inquiring minds want to know.

The new year is traditionally a time for fresh starts, new beginnings, and resolutions. Start exercising, lose weight, stop smoking. Of course, as we all know, the resolutions are easier to keep on January 5th than on February 5th. Here's a list of the most popular resolutions for 2011.
