Even in a COVID year, Chalk on the Walk will remain one of the most loved parts of Sweet Pea Festival...and it's happening in 2020 so have no fear!

Chalk on the Walk is the unofficial kickoff for Sweet Pea Festival. Kids and adults filled the sidewalks along Bozeman's Main Street this morning to decorate the downtown. Check out their handiwork here:

Every year Chalk on the Walk kicks off the Sweet Pea Festival celebration.

The sidewalks of Main Street in downtown Bozeman are currently displaying color and marking the unofficial start of another Sweet Pea Festival!

The 36th annual Sweet Pea Festival is this weekend and Main Street is once again decorated in fine chalk art! I was able to get some photos of this year's "Chalk on the Walk". I was impressed, not only by the art but by the diverse expressions laid out, ranging from love to oppression to the legalization of marijuana. You gotta love Bozeman! Check out the photos here:

This year's Sweet Pea Festival officially kicks off  late Friday afternoon in Lindley Park but the buzz has already made its way to the sidewalks downtown! Check out some pictures of this year's Chalk on the Walk:
