I came across a very interesting article today in the HuffPost Healthy Living (www.huffingtonpost.com). It gives 15 examples of how we humans can learn from our dogs to be healthier. Lessons include taking more naps, using our sense of smell more, being more passionate and welcoming, and learning to receive (just to name a few). Check out the full article here.

Here are a few quick tips from Springhill Sod Farm to help avoid dead spots in your lawn caused by your pets bathroom breaks. Try altering the dogs diet. Parsely works to help neutralize the urine to some degree. Also walk the dog to get them to do their business somewhere else. If dead areas appear, cut them out and replace them with sod, seeding these areas will not work.
