The 2013 Hyalite Fall Clean-Up Is Sunday, October 20

With the government shut down, our love and care for Hyalite is more important than ever! Please join Friends of Hyalite and their new MSU college club on Sunday, October 20 from 12:30 - 4:00 pm for the annual fall clean-up. If you can volunteer, here's everything you need to know:

Volunteers will focus on cleaning and maintaining recreation areas throughout the canyon. No sign-ups are necessary, but volunteers are asked to meet at the Hyalite Day Use Area at the Hyalite Reservoir on October 20 at 12:30 pm. Bring warm work clothes suitable for layering and inclement weather, gloves, bear spray (if available) and water. Volunteer groups will spread both up and down the canyon. A volunteer appreciation BBQ will follow, sponsored by Friends of Hyalite at the Hyalite Reservoir Pavilion. Let's do our part to help keep Hyalite enjoyable for all!
