The Clubs Are Going Home

The first Winter Storm Watches of the season over. Since temperatures aren't supposed to rise over 45 for the rest of the week, I'm going to do something I didn't want to do for a few more weeks. Bring the golf clubs home.

I keep them in the MOOSE Jeep all season. With them there, I'm able to look like I'm working but actually driving out to the course at the drop of a hat. There's something justified about taking off whenever a few free hours crop up......as long as the clubs are in the Jeep.

Well....it's time to remove them and bring them home. Funny, since last Saturday I was golfing 18 holes in short sleeves and by Monday we were covered in snow wearing fleece hats. Gotta love this place.

The one thing I DO love about the close of golf season is that it become golf SHOPPING season. It's the time of year that all the good stuff goes on closeout and I can order a fresh box of dozens of Sponge Bob Squarepants neon golf balls to be ready for next year.....and I assure you, I'm already ready for next year. -Michelle
