The Movie “Chasing Ice” This Thursday And Friday

Once again, it was great to have Conrad Anker in the studio this morning during the Sunday Brunch. He will be part of a panel that will be holding a discussion around the Thursday showings of Chasing Ice.

Also, the local group organizing this, ADDED a Friday Night show at 7:30pm at the Emerson as well. Everyone 18 and under will get in FREE to Friday nights event. Special tix for Friday will be available at the door as well as at Cactus Records as of this Tuesday.

Also showing: The award winning short film "Trust Alaska" from the series "Stories of Trust: Calling for Climate Recovery," tells the story of how 17-year old Nelson Kanuk is fighting to save the Alaska tundra and way of life for his community.
