Best Montana Solo Travel Destination
If you have never traveled alone, you're probably missing out on some experiences you might not get to have with a group.
Thrillist came out with a list of the 15 Best Places To Travel Alone in The World, and one spot in Montana landed on the list. This location in Montana ranks alongside places like Greece, Ireland, and other fantastic destinations.

One of the best places to travel alone in the world is Glacier National Park in Northwest Montana. Glacier National Park plays second fiddle to the other massive national park in Montana, Yellowstone, but is fantastic for solo travelers.
Glacier offers hundreds of miles of trails, waterfalls, and hidden lakes to enjoy and explore during your time there. It's a dream for everyone who loves the outdoors.
I can see why Glacier National Park landed on this list from Thrillist. It's a great place to explore by yourself; plenty of quiet space and an abundance of striking views. My brother used to live in Whitefish, close to the park, and would consistently go on solo hikes in the backcountry.
Plus, you can venture into Canada from Glacier National Park. There is a border crossing where you can get a unique stamp on your passport. The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is the only international bridge in the world. That's worth the trip.
If you do plan on going to Glacier National Park for a trip by yourself, I highly recommend keeping your loved ones up-to-date on where you are and where you will be heading. Plus, carry bear spray in your pack. Grizzly bears are common in Glacier.
So why not plan a trip up to Glacier National Park and have yourself the best solo trip of your life?
