Imagine waking up everyday and stepping outside only to be surrounded by a million acres of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world?  What would something like that cost? Could you even put a price on it?

Actually, yes you can, and that price is 12 million dollars.

Up for sale is a 6 bedroom, 4 and a half bath, 3287 square foot home inside Glacier National Park.  The home comes with a single car garage and it's own "meditation room", although I would think you could just go outside and meditate, but what do I know. The home itself, sits on 3/4 of an acre, which you would own. That 3/4 of acre just happens to be inside of a National Park.

Apparently, actually owning a home inside a National Park is a rare thing, since most are leased and a chance to have full ownership doesn't come up very often.

Plus, it's in a prime location.  The home is located at 348 Grist Road which is only minutes from Lake McDonald and just a short half hour drive to the Airport.  I mean, lets be honest, if you can afford a 12 million dollar house, you can probably also afford a plane, right?

According to the current owner, the property was last listed for sale in 2013 for 369,000 dollars. The old lodge had not had humans occupants in over 40 years, although there were certainly signs of wildlife living on and in the property. The current lodge was built in the footsteps of the old lodge in 2014.

LOOK: Stunning vintage photos capture the beauty of America's national parks

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.

LOOK: Here are the best lake towns to live in

Many of the included towns jump out at the casual observer as popular summer-rental spots--the Ozarks' Branson, Missouri, or Arizona's Lake Havasu--it might surprise you to dive deeper into some quality-of-life offerings beyond the beach and vacation homes. You'll likely pick up some knowledge from a wide range of Americana: one of the last remaining 1950s-style drive-ins in the Midwest; a Florida town that started as a Civil War veteran retirement area; an island boasting some of the country's top public schools and wealth-earners right in the middle of a lake between Seattle and Bellevue; and even a California town containing much more than Johnny Cash's prison blues.
