Eastern Montana will encounter a few more hours of a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and wind, until noon on Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT TODAY.

  • ACCUMULATIONS: SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 5 INCHES, HEAVIEST NORTH OF HIGHWAY 2 AND EAST OF GLASGOW.
  • TIMING: THROUGH THIS MORNING.
  • IMPACTS: THE SNOW WILL CREATE SNOW COVERED ROADS AND STRESS NEWBORN AND YOUNG LIVESTOCK.
  • WINDS: EAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
  • WIND CHILL: AS LOW AS 15 BELOW.
  • BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITY.
