There are a lot of things I want to do before I get hit by a bus. Hence, my own Bucket List. These are just a few, big and small. (I think it's crucial to have small ones on there too so you can actually check as few off before you hear the horn.)

I often bug Michelle Wolfe with a barrage of questions every morning (just because I know how much she appreciates it). She really loves when I bust into the Moose studio in the morning when she has headphones on and can't hear me coming.

When I die and come back as something else, I'm SO coming back as a loved barn cat. Being a barn cat with a real home at your disposal might be the best life of all. This is Huntley Dahmer the cat. He lives in the southern Madison Valley and has the best life of any cat I've ever met.

I generally don't rely on rock stars to teach me life lessons. Except that cocaine can burn holes in your nose and stuff. But Grace Potter may be the exception to that general rule and here is the life lesson:

Mid-January is a tough time to say you love this place. Yeah, the skiing is generally great but the weather is notoriously unpredictable with some days significantly below zero and others (like today) unseasonably "messy warm" in the 40s.

Well, I finally got the best of the best of all the pictures I took over Christmas weekend down in the Madison Valley. It really is one of my favorite places on earth. Before we moved to Montana, my family spent all summer there every year fly fishing with friends who had been living there for several years...

I'll save the "Oh how wonderful it was to spend time with family and friends" stuff for later but I WILL tell you this: I'm willing to bet a dollar that I saw more wildlife this past Christmas weekend than you. Or anyone else you know.
