Dear Montana Healthcare Workers,

First off, I want to say thank you. Thank you for risking your life to save the lives of others. We are living in unprecedented times and you are the glue that's holding us together. You are heroes. Each and every one of you.

As the son of a nurse, I have seen the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on my mother. She has had to pick up a lot of extra shifts due to employee shortages. I understand that many healthcare workers are physically and emotionally drained. While Americans argue back and forth about whether or not to take the vaccine, you have continued to go to work every day and dedicate your time and energy to helping people and saving lives. I want you to know that you are appreciated. I want you to know that your efforts aren't taken for granted.

Many healthcare workers across the country are literally getting worked to death due to hospitals and healthcare facilities being overwhelmed. I want you to know that your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Personally, I am incredibly thankful for all of our healthcare workers in Montana.

I know that you're overworked. I know that you're exhausted and ready for all of this to be over. We all are. I got vaccinated in an attempt to do my part.

It breaks my heart to see the current situation in our hospitals and the strain it has caused on healthcare workers. I want to thank all of our Montana healthcare workers for all your hard work and dedication to help people and save lives. Please know you all are so loved and appreciated for everything that you do.

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.
