Apparently, Montanans Spot Bigfoot A LOT

Just what we need...to be the real home of Bigfoot. According to a company that tracks Bigfoot sightings, Montana has the 5th highest sightings in the country per capita.

There is actually something called the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization. Using census data for state populations and reported Bigfoot sightings, they found the number of sightings per 100,000 people per state.

I don't know anyone who has "seen" Bigfoot, let alone make a report about it. However, those who aren't big believers are probably the ones who have an encounter!

According to their findings, here is where Montana ranks:

States with the most per capita Bigfoot sightings:

1. Washington
2. Oregon
3. West Virginia
4. Idaho
5. Montana

States with the fewest per capita Bigfoot sightings:

1. Nevada
2. Rhode Island
3. Massachusetts
4. Connecticut
5. Delaware
