The Bay Bar & Grille has long been a staple in the Bozeman area.

It's hard to believe that The Bay Bar & Grille has been serving locals and visitors in Bozeman since 1988. Over the years, the restaurant has earned a reputation for consistently serving great food, cold beer, delicious cocktails, and friendly service that is second to none.

When the restaurant closed for renovations in August of 2024, it forced many people to change their routines and left a big hole in the Bozeman community. For over a year, folks had to find another place to celebrate their birthdays or watch a Bobcat game.

Now, after months of anticipation, The Bay Bar & Grille is open at Gallatin Crossing (formerly the Gallatin Valley Mall). The renovations may have taken longer than expected, but the wait is finally over. Hours of operation will be limited this week, so be sure to check their website before you stop by.

I can't wait to stop in for a bowl of their famous French Onion Soup. It's literally one of my favorite things in the world. They've also added a few new items to the menu that I'm looking forward to trying.

Around here, everyone’s family once you walk through the door.

In a town that’s grown and changed rapidly over the years, The Bay Bar & Grille has remained a steady constant. Its return isn’t just about reopening a restaurant; it’s about bringing back a gathering place that generations of Bozeman locals have come to rely on.
