Bozeman Area Live Music: First Week of July Edition

From Bozeman and Big Sky to Pony and Emigrant. It's hot and the live music is hoppin' around here this week. Celebrate Independence Day Weekend with some friends, out and about.

Thursday, July 1st: The Bridger Creek Boys at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main Street, Bozeman) Free bluegrass music, happening 7pm to 9pm. Matt Broughton (Fiddle, Mandolin), Jim Dungan (Guitar), Scott Stebbins (Bass), and Andrew Schauer (Banjo).

Thursday, July 1st: Montana Rose LIVE at Stacey’s in Gateway - (300 Mill Street, Gallatin Gateway) No cover. Music starts around 7pm. Singer/songwriter Claudia Williams, her son Luke Williams, and Marcus Engstrom.

Friday, July 2nd: THE SHACK in Belgrade Presents: Red, White, & Bluebelly Junction - (1101 Central Park Rd, Belgrade) Music/Food/Beer/Party on the River. All Ages, Bar w/ID, Kids under 7 are free. Tickets are $15 Adv tickets, $20 at Gate. Bluebelly Junction (7:30pm), Joey and the Locks (6:30pm), Montana Sunshine (5:30pm).

Friday, July 2nd: Uncorked and Unplugged Live Music Series at Blend - (31 South Willson, downtown Bozeman) No cover. Live, acoustic music every Friday and Saturday night by a talented local artist. Happens 7pm to 9pm.

Friday, July 2nd: Ian Thomas and the Band of Drifters LIVE at the Old Saloon - (210 Railroad Ln, Emigrant) FREE show. 5 PIECE true western and roots country band. Come prepared to dance.

Friday, July 2nd: Jazz Night at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main, Bozeman) No cover. Happening 7pm to 9pm. A rotating lineup of Bozeman's finest jazz musicians every Friday. Curated by Alex Robilotta.

Saturday, July 3rd: Music in the Mountains: Steep Canyon Rangers in Big Sky - Big Sky Town Center. FREE CONCERT SERIES. Music from 8pm to 11pm. "Steep Canyon Rangers are Asheville, North Carolina’s GRAMMY winners, perennial Billboard chart-toppers, and frequent collaborators of the renowned banjoist (and occasional comedian) Steve Martin".

Saturday, July 3rd: Fountain Street Theater at The Pony Bar - (108 Broadway Street, Pony) No cover charge. Music starts around 7pm. Voted one of America's best bars in Men's Journal.

Saturday, July 3rd: Quenby and the West of Wayland Band LIVE at Stacey’s in Gateway - (300 Mill St, Gallatin Gateway) No cover. Music starts around 8pm. An authentic blend of country, outlaw, and honky tonk.

Saturday, July 3rd: The Vibe Quartet at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main, Bozeman) No cover charge. Happening 7pm to 9pm. Weston Lewis on guitar, Haley Ford on bass, Jerrad Highman on drums and David Charles on keys.

Sunday, July 4th: The Fossils at Pine Creek Lodge - (2496 East River Road, south of Livingston) Tickets are just $10. 7pm to 11pm. Show happens rain or shine at Pine Creek Lodge.
