Just a few tips to make sure you enjoy downtown Bozeman's Music on Main series along with the who, what, when, where and full schedule.

  • WHAT: 2021 Downtown Bozeman Music on Main Series
  • WHERE: Main Street, downtown Bozeman (2 blocks, Rouse Ave to Black Ave)
  • Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for those two blocks from 6pm to 9pm
  • July 22th - G-PHAT featuring Dan Tyminski
  • July 29th - Paige & The People's Band
  • August 5th - Vella
  • August 12th - The RT's
  • TIME: Kid's activities start at 6:30pm, Music is live from 7pm to 8:30pm
  • Music on Main is FREE and open to the public, all ages
  • Open Container Waiver is in effect from 6pm to 9pm ONLY
  • open containers of alcohol on the street outside of those hours are subject to a $100 fine and it is strictly enforced
  • Get a 21+ wristband from any downtown bar within the Music on Main area after being carded. That wristband will allow you to have a beverage in a plastic cup only. No glass or aluminum cans are allowed within the Music on Main area.
  • WATER: there WILL be a water station set up on the south side of the intersection if you arrive with a refillable container.
  • FOOD VENDORS: a variety of vendors and food trucks will be set up on both blocks of Main Street. In addition, the restaurants on those blocks of Music on Main will be open for business if you want sit-down dining.
  • NO SMOKING: no smoking allowed within the Music on Main area. If you want to smoke, please stay away from the Main Street closure area and the Kid's Zone area.
  • KID'S ACTIVITIES: Located south of the intersection of Bozeman Avenue and Main Street (the main intersection where the stage is located). No inflatables this year for safety but there will be lots of fun carnival games and activities for the kiddos. (Kids activities are free, but there may be a wait time)
  • RESTROOMS: Portable toilets will be located north and south of the Music on Main intersection.
  • PARKING: The parking garage is located at Black Avenue and Mendenhall. Parking is free for 2 hours in the garage and on City of Bozeman streets.
  • DO NOT PARK ON MAIN STREET ON THESE TWO BLOCKS AFTER 5PM ON THURSDAYS. YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED. Be careful!
  • PLEASE NOTE: street parking is strictly enforced with the 2 hour limit. Tickets do get issued.
  • Music on Main and downtown Bozeman in general is quite busy on Thursday evenings. PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND DRIVE CAREFULLY. There are tons of pedestrians, lots of children and more traffic than usual.
  • NO dogs or pets allowed and NO backpacks will be allowed within the Music on Main area. Small bags and purses are fine.
