Future Islands Set To Play The Wilma In September
Let's just take a moment to really stand in awe of the amount of concert news we've been getting over the past few weeks. This time last year, we were still in the midst of all the COVID shutdowns - we didn't know when live music would return. We didn't even know if it could return.
And now, life is actually getting back to normal, and Logjam Presents has been throwing out a ton of announcements for shows this summer at Kettlehouse Amphitheater. And looking beyond the summer a bit, they've also announced a few concerts at The Wilma starting in September.
And another one of those came through today: iconic synth-pop band Future Islands are set to play The Wilma on Monday, September 13th. Right now, they're the earliest concert scheduled for the venue, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. After that, they've got Ashley McBride, Tennis, Todd Snider, Shovels & Rope, Tech N9ne, and Milky Chance on the way.
Tickets for Future Islands will be going on sale Wednesday, May 28th at Logjam's website, and will be $25 for general admission.
We've really been on a roll for concert announcements, but there are plenty more dates we can fill in on the calendar - and after last year, I think a lot of people are ready to get back to seeing live music and cheering their favorite artists on. Who do you hope comes to Missoula before the year is out?
