  • WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • WHERE...A portion of southwest Idaho, including the following areas, Boise Mountains and West Central Mountains. The Wapiti Burn Scar (including a portion of Idaho State Highway 21) is included in this watch.
  • WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
  • IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, burn scars, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Heavy rain-producing thunderstorms may impact burn scars.
  • PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
