LOOK: Wyoming Fire Crews Battle Ammunition Truck Fire

Uinta County authorities say Interstate 80 was closed in western Wyoming on Monday afternoon.

The closure was thanks to a truck carrying ammunition catching fire.

According to the fire department, the semi was part of a military convoy hauling ammunition.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the tractor and its cargo containers were not breached.
