Like you really need an excuse to enjoy fantastic beer, live music and great food, outdoors in the Montana sunshine. Am I right? The 11th annual MT Brews and BBQ is happening Saturday at MetraPark and the event this year is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.

The festival features beers exclusively from Montana.

Beer festivals usually have a mix of local and regional breweries (and don't get me wrong, there are some great beers from the Pacific Northwest), but MT Brews and BBQ features exclusively Montana brewed and kegged beers. If you were to travel to all of the Montana brewers represented at the event, you'd put over 1,800 miles on your car!

Live music, food trucks and beer drinking will happen Lakeside at MetraPark.

It's more of a pond, really, but the "lake" at MetraPark is a perfect setting for the seventeen food trucks that will be offering a huge variety of foods on-site during the festival. Bring a lawn chair and grab a seat for live music from D'tective. The gates are open from 1 PM to 10 PM.
