Gallatin, Madison, Beaverhead, Jeffereson and Broadwater have been added to the list of Montana counties under a Winter Weather Advisory for Wednesday. SOME parts of the state may get a foot of snow or more.

High winds along the I-90 corridor on Sunday are causing snow to drift and visibility to come and go.

Madison and Gallatin counties are under a Winter Storm Watch for Sunday which is expected to bring several inches of snow to the Bozeman and Ennis areas, with more expected in the mountains.

Southwest Montana could get messy for another 24 hours as several inches of snow is expected in southwest Montana by Friday afternoon.

The valleys of Eastern Montana are experiencing HEAVY, DENSE fog this morning with very poor visibility on the roads.

Southwest Montana will get hit with another round of early season snow through Friday evening. We're under a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight Friday. Up to 10 inches of snow is possible!

It's the first Winter Weather Advisory of the season! Bozeman area mountain passes could several inches of snow this Friday and Saturday. Wildfire relief!

Slick, snow packed roads may be an issue if you need to travel over Homestake Pass between Butte and Bozeman during this Advisory period.

Temperatures may be warmer than what we've suffered through for the last week, but Gallatin County will see some fresh snow this weekend.

Drifting snow may be an issue for the Billings area until 6am on Monday morning as they are under a Winter Weather Advisory with closures on I-90 due to high wind.

Cold temperatures, some snow and more wind are going to affect most of Montana through Monday. Great Falls and Helena are both under Advisories with more Warnings and Advisories expected.

The Bozeman area will be extremely cold Tuesday night and Wednesday morning with some areas experiencing wind chills of -25 degrees. People and pets will be at risk for hypothermia.
