Vampire Weekend's self-titled debut from January 2008 was heralded as the best of the year and compared to industry heavy hitters — even before its release.
This year's Sasquatch! Music Festival kicked off with a bang! Well ... OK, the weather wasn't exactly cooperative, as it rained on Friday and most of Monday, but that didn't stop thousands upon thousands of concertgoers from enjoying four days (May 24-27) of awesome music at the Gorge Amphitheater, one of the most beautiful venues in the country.

Two weeks ago we learned that Vampire Weekend were “80 percent” done with their first album since 2010′s ‘Contra.’ On Thursday (July 12), the band felt comfortable enough with one of them to give the song its debut at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio.
Vampire Weekend fans have been waiting patiently for a new full-length album since the release of ‘Contra’ in 2010. According to frontman Ezra Koenig, they may not have to wait much longer.
