The morning after a series of orchestrated terrorist attacks across Paris, a pianist covered John Lennon's “Imagine” in a moving tribute to the city and those involved and affected by the tragedy.

The Guardian captured footage of the pianist -- whom Spin identifies as David Martello -- playing a stirring rendition of Lennon's 1971 classic on a grand piano in front of the Le Bataclan, the music venue where 87 people were killed during an Eagles of Death Metal concert. Watch a clip of his performance at the bottom of the page.

The concert hall was one of several targets in the French capital on Friday, Nov. 13. The death toll has risen to 129, according to Paris prosecutor Francois Molins. Another 352 people have been injured and 99 are in critical condition.

All of the members of Eagles of Death Metal made it out of the venue safely and have since canceled the remainder of their European tour and are heading home. U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Deftones have also canceled concerts and tour dates following Friday's shocking events.
