Winter Weather Advisory Through Monday for Most of Montana
Many Montana counties will be under a Winter Weather Advisory until Monday afternoon, with the mountains around Bozeman expected to get up to 10 inches of fresh snow.
According to the National Weather Service:
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM Monday.
- WHAT: Snow redevelops late Sunday through Monday.
- A brief period of freezing rain is possible from Helena to Townsend this evening.
- Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected in the valleys, with 5 to 10 inches in the mountains.
- A light glaze of ice possible this evening.
- WHERE: central and southern Lewis And Clark, Jefferson, Broadwater and Gallatin.
- WHEN: from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Monday.
- Plan on slippery Road conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday. Be prepared for reduced visibility at times.
