2013 Tracy Award Ceremony May 3rd Ellen Theatre
“This is a cool event where you get to see quality short films from those of us just about to enter the film industry. This is a sneak peak into the future of what film is going to look like,” says Fallon Walker, director of Google Docs.
“We should be supporting all programs at Montana State University, and coming to the Tracy Awards is just one way to do that.”
The Tracy Award ceremony will be held on Friday, May 3 at the Ellen Theatre at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Tickets for Friday night’s awards are $13 for adults, and $10 for students (with ID). Tickets are available at theellentheatre.com or by calling (406) 585-5885. There is an 18+ after party at Santa Fe Red’s for those with tickets.
Audience members will have a chance to view all twelve films in their entirety during screenings set at 5 pm nightly from April 29 to May 1 in MSU's Procrastinator Theater, located in the Student Union Building. Admission to the screenings is $2. An additional free screening will be held May 3 at 1 pm at the Black Box Theatre on the corner of 11th and Grant.
