CHECK FORT PECK WAVE HEIGHT MAP
There are six recreation sites within close proximity to the dam. By checking the Fort Peck Lake projected wave model, you can determine which areas might be more dangerous than others.
"One recommendation is to go out to the Pines Campground, about 20 miles southwest of the dam. It provides some great scenery and photo opportunities, especially late in the day." (Missouri River MT)

Be cautious and keep an eye out for other recreationalists if you're in the area today. Let's keep everyone safe!
"Fort Peck was planned and developed by government engineers as the headquarters for construction and operation of the huge Fort Peck Dam in 1933. Fort Peck Dam is one of the largest earth-filled river impediments in the world." (Missouri River MT)
