Gallatin County Winter Weather Advisory Until Noon Sunday
Most roads in town are just wet, but higher elevations are seeing slick conditions after several inches of snow fell overnight in Gallatin County.
According to the National Weather Service:
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT TODAY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 5500 FEET
- LOCATIONS: BATTLE RIDGE PASS, BOZEMAN PASS, TARGHEE PASS, WEST YELLOWSTONE, BIG HOLE PASS, CHIEF JOSEPH PASS, MONIDA PASS, AND RAYNOLDS PASS.
- TIMING: SNOW SHOWERS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH THROUGH THIS MORNING.
- ACCUMULATIONS: ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATION THIS MORNING UP TO ONE INCH, PRIMARILY OVER THE MOUNTAINS.
- REDUCED VISIBILITY AND ROADS COVERED WITH WET, HEAVY SNOW WILL CAUSE DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS, PRIMARILY EARLY THIS MORNING.
- A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES.
