Great news local powder hounds, sports enthusiasts, competitive individuals, outdoor lovers, and thrill seekers! Homestake Lodge and the Bozeman Triathlon Club welcome your participation in the 3rd annual Powder Hound. This is the first winter triathlon in the State of Montana and the northern Rockies. So get involved, unleash your inner snow dog at Homestake Lodge (located beneath the Continental Divide just three miles from I-90 and 15 minutes from Butte).

The Powder Hound Winter Triathlon will serve as the USA Triathlon Pacific Northwest Region Winter Triathlon Championship. The region includes Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and Washington. It includes a 5K run, 10K mountain bike and a 5K Nordic Ski. Everyone is welcome to compete (including beginners from any or all sport disciplines).

Participants may race as individuals, in pairs, or in teams of three. Registration includes the race, lunch, and a trail pass for a full day of Nordic skiing at Homestake Lodge, Montana’s best new Nordic skiing venue. Prizes will be awarded to all age division winners.
