A Winter Weather Advisory for the Butte/Blackfoot region will bring fresh snow overnight with up to 6 inches over Homestake Pass by Thursday morning.

If you're traveling west into Idaho tonight or Friday morning, you'll probably encounter some pretty snowy conditions and slick roads over Lolo Pass. Several inches of fresh snow is expected.

Snow continues to fall in Gallatin and Madison counties with most falling above 6,000 feet. The snow is light and the city streets aren't too bad.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued through 6pm Monday night with the highest elevations around southwest Montana getting up to 12 inches of fresh snow.

Most of southwest Montana is expected to get some snow from this storm. The very highest elevations could see up to 10 inches of fresh snow!

Many Montana counties will be under a Winter Weather Advisory until Monday afternoon, with the mountains around Bozeman expected to get up to 10 inches of fresh snow.

Several counties will receive some snow on Friday, into early Saturday morning. Several inches are in the forecast for Gallatin, Madison and other counties with snow levels dropping to 5,000 feet.

A good chunk of Montana is under a Winter Weather Advisory through Friday morning, including the Bozeman area. The mountains may receive 8 fresh inches of snow!

Just about every county east of Billings (north to south) is under a Wind Chill Advisory tonight and tomorrow morning with temps possibly reaching -30 to -40 with the wind chill.

Yet ANOTHER round of snow is headed for several Montana counties which should dump a few inches in town and up to a foot at pass elevation.

Southwest and south central Montana could see several inches of wet snow by Wednesday morning with this next front moving in. Fingers crossed!

Blowing and drifting snow along with very significant wind chills will affect Livingston and the I-90 corridor east of there through Sunday afternoon.
