It's that time of year - spring rainfall and the last of mountain snowmelt combine for flooding conditions on Montana rivers. The Jefferson River is now under a Flood Advisory.

The Flood Warning for the Jefferson River continues all this week, will minor flooding already happening in parts of four counties. The Three Forks area is of utmost concern.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is alerting the public to angling restrictions on the Big Hole and Jefferson Rivers effective Friday, July 3 as a result of high water temperatures. Restrictions on other southwest Montana rivers are likely in the near future.
