We were ALL OVER the Gallatin Valley this weekend with the 25th Parade of Homes which continues this week. Here's what you can expect to see!

Houses large and small provided up close and personal views of the latest building techniques and design trends.

In addition to being available at all major sponsor outlets, tickets for the 2016 Parade of Homes are available at all Parade Homes when you arrive.

Every home on the Parade had a different focus to offer - some made the best use of outdoor space. Some had insanely cool kitchens. Some made the best use of SMALLER spaces.

2016 SWMBIA Parade of Homes dates and hours:

  • September 10, 11, 16, 17, 18
  • Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm, Friday 5pm to 8pm

The views were outstanding, especially from a home north of town at the end of Springhill Road. The photo below was taken off the deck of a home built by Keith Fraser Construction.

There were plenty of opportunities to see more simple design ideas such as this outdoor fire pit. It wasn't particularly fancy, but very inviting.

If having your OWN outdoor fire pit is something you've always wanted, this made it seem very simple.

By FAR my favorite scene of the weekend was a stunning outdoor space featuring a towering fireplace as seen below.
