Yup. Snow. Several inches of it in the Bridger Range with this Winter Weather Advisory, which is more specific than they normally are.

A Winter Weather Advisory for the Bridger Range in northern Gallatin County for snow...remains in effect from noon today to noon MDT Thursday.

  • * Timing and main impact: periods of rain and snow will continue today with snow levels lowering to around 5000 feet. Snow will begin to accumulate over mountain passes this afternoon and could cause slick Road conditions... especially over Battle Ridge Pass.
  • * Snow accumulations: 4 to 8 inches of snow are expected at elevations above 5000 feet. Up to one inch of snow is expected in the Bozeman area.
  • * Visibility: less than one mile at times.
  • * Other impacts: those traveling...hiking or camping should be prepared for winter conditions.
  • * Locations affected include: Battle Ridge Pass.
