Thinking About Moving to Montana? These 5 States Are Much Better
Thinking about moving to Montana? Before you do, you might want to consider a few other places first.
In the past few years, Montana has experienced an influx of new residents. For many that decided to pack their belongings and hit the road for the treasure state, it was a rude awaking. Montana lacks the conveniences and amenities that are found in most other states across the country.
The popular Paramount+ series Yellowstone may be a golden goose for the state's economy, but it's also put Montana on display for the entire world to see. The show has also taken some of the blame for the increase in people from other states deciding to move to Montana. Many locals would argue that the show doesn't portray what life in Montana is really like. For instance, none of the characters on the show have to endure the brutal winters that are common in the state.
Why You Should Consider Moving to Another State Instead of Montana
The 9-month long winters aren't the only thing you have to worry about. There are also a lot of bears. You constantly have to be aware of your surroundings because bears are predatory animals and will stalk and kill you. Not only that, they will steal things right off your front porch!
Have I mentioned the supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park? When that thing blows, we're all goners. Your best bet is to move somewhere as far away from YNP as you can. That place is a ticking time bomb.
I just wanted you to be aware of what you're getting yourself into. You should probably just move somewhere else. Seriously.
