Bozeman Area Winter Storm Warning Through Saturday
We could see another foot of snow in the Bozeman area by Saturday night, with extremely difficult travel conditions at times. Heavy snowfall in town AND the surrounding area is expected.
According to the National Weather Service:
WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST SATURDAY NIGHT.
- WHAT: PERIODS OF SNOW. THE SNOW COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WITH SNOWFALL RATES NEAR 1 INCH PER HOUR.
- PLAN ON DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING DURING THE EVENING COMMUTE.
- ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES AT LOWER ELEVATIONS AND 9 TO 14 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS.
- WHERE: GALLATIN COUNTY
- WHEN: UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST SATURDAY NIGHT.
- BE PREPARED FOR SIGNIFICANT REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY AT TIMES.
