Flood Advisory for Meagher County, Ringling Area
Melting snow from warmer temperatures is still causing some area flooding with the advisory for Meagher County being extended.
According to the National Weather Service:
The National Weather Service in Great Falls has extended the flood advisory for snowmelt in Meagher County in central Montana.
- Until 7:15 PM Friday
- at 2:00 PM Thursday, emergency management reported snowmelt causing minor flooding over portions of Meagher County.
- As of Thursday afternoon, the Ringling area is being impacted most
with minor flooding. However, with warm afternoon temperatures
expected through Friday, additional flooding problems could develop. - Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
- Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
