Here’s an Updated List of Fires Burning in Montana

The Lolo Peak Fire is burning in the Lolo National Forest. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 45,012 thus far.

The Rice Ridge Fire is burning north of Seeley Lake. It is the largest fire burning in Montana. As of this morning (9/5), the fire has grown to 108,126 acres.

The Liberty Fire is burning northeast of Missoula. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 21,400 acres.

The Alice Creek Fire is burning northwest of Helena. As of this morning (9/5), the fire has burned 21,393 acres.

The East Fork Fire is burning between Great Falls and Malta. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 21,518 acres.

The Sartin Draw Fire is burning southeast of Billings. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 99,735 acres.

The Meyers Fire is burning in the Deer Lodge National Forest. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 53,737 acres.

The Sprague Fire is burning in Glacier National Park. It has already burned the century old Sperry Chalet. Crews are working to protect Lake McDonald Lodge on the west side of the park.

The Park Creek Fire is burning northwest if Lincoln. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 16,146 acres.

The Caribou Fire is burning in northwest Montana in the Kootenai National Forest,  As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 17,089 acres.

The Sunrise Fire is burning in the Lolo National Forest. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 26,155 acres.

The Sapphire Complex Fire is burning southeast of Missoula. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 43,309 acres.

The Highway 200 Complex Fire is burning near Thompson Falls. As of this morning (9/5), the fire has burned 13,310 acres.

The Gibralter Ridge Fire is burning southeast of Eureka. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 7,195 acres.

The Burdette Fire is burning in the Lolo National Forest west of Missoula. As of this morning (9/5), it has burned 649 acres.

The Scalp Fire is burning in the Flathead National Forest. As of this yesterday (9/4), it has burned 10,136 acres.

The Reef Fire is also in the Flathead National Forest. As of yesterday (9/), is has burned 9, 740 acres.

The Adair Peak Fire is burning in Glacier National Park near Logging Lake. As of this morning (9/5), the fire has burned 1,335 acres.

The Crucifixion Creek Fire is burning near Helena in the Lewis & Clark National Forest. As of this moring (9/5), it has burned 7,604 acres.

The Strawberry Fire is burning in the Flathead National Forest. As of yesterday (9/4), it has burned 1,101 acres.

The Dolly Varden Fire is burning in the Flathead National Forest. As of yesterday (9/4), it has burned 185 acres.

The Nelson Creek Fire is burning in the Bitterroot National Forest. As of yesterday (9/4), it has burned 276 acres.

The Monahan is burning in the Lolo National Forest. As of Sunday (9/3), it has burned 2,523 acres.

The Conrow Fire is burning in the Beaverhead / Deer Lodge National Forest. As of Saturday (9/2), it has burned 2,727 acres.

The West Fork Fire is burning in the Kootenai National Forest. As of Sunday (9/3), it has burned 800 acres.

The Blue Bay Fire is burning on the west side of Flathead Lake. As of Sunday (9/3), it has burned 490 acres.
