As far as passionate college football fan bases go, Bobcat fans are some of the most dedicated supporters out there.

So far, Montana State Football has had a successful 2022 season. The Bobcats are ranked #2 in the nation and are hopefully headed toward another great playoff run. MSU has hosted four home games so far and has two left. Weber State comes to Bobcat Country this Saturday, October 22nd, and the final home game, against the University of Montana Grizzlies, is on Saturday, November 19th. Luckily, they've got some stellar fans to support them--and based on statistics, Bobcat fans actually do out-cheer every other fan base in the conference.

According to the NCAA, attendance at Bobcat stadium has been the highest in the nation for all teams in the FCS. Check out this Facebook post.

That's right, the Montana State Bobcats have had higher attendance to their four home games than any other team in the FCS. Plus, we still have two home games to go, both against high-profile opponents. I can't imagine that both of these home games won't be in front of sell-out crowds, so you better get your tickets now. A few standing-room-only tickets are still available for the October 22nd game. Grab them while you can!

The cherry on top of our new title of 'Best Fans Ever' is that the University of Montana Grizzlies stadium has a larger capacity than Montana State, but they still don't pull in as many fans as the Bobcats. Bobcat Nation is winning in more than one way.

So, in order to uphold our reputation as the best fan base in the FCS, we need to amp up the support for the Bobcats as they make their run for both a Big Sky Conference title and another national championship game.

The Bobcats are looking as fantastic as they did last year, and we're excited to see where they go.

So buckle up, dress warm, and cheer on our Bobcats!

Montana State University Gold Rush Game 2022

The day was hot and so were the Bobcats. The first game of the season against McNeese State, and the Bobcats were ready to send those Cowboys back to the south.

Temperatures close to 100 degrees, didn't stop our Bobcats OR their dedicated fans. Bobcat Football brings out fans of all ages to cheer and be a part of a dream for many youth. Future Bobcats right here? I hope so, they already have amazing spirit!

The Bobcats took the win with ease, staying one step ahead of the McNeese Cowboys, the team looked fresh, ready, and the end score proved they were ready to come out on top of the season opener.

With a final score of 40-17, the Bobcats put the southern boys back on a plane with their first loss of the season, and the first win for our Bobcats.

Week two is just around the corner with a home game on September 10th, which also brings the Military Appreciation game. Just one way we love to show our Military Personnel an extra THANK YOU.
