The Grateful Dead Announce Special Halloween Show With John Mayer at MSG

Three of the 'Core Four' Grateful Dead members (Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Mickey Hart) have announced an epic Halloween show at Madison Square Garden with John Mayer.

Mayer was seen at all five 'Fare Thee Well' shows earlier this summer, sparking rumors of his involvement with The Dead moving forward. The three Dead members will have Mayer, Ratdog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and Allman Brothers bassist Oteil Burbridge all join them for the Halloween show in New York City. Rumor is the 'band' will be dubbed Dead & Company, but a Ticketmaster link suggests that they will be called Los Muertos, Spanish for 'The Dead.'
