It's nice to know Earth Day has really turned into a full week of action events and education, locally and across the globe. Want to get involved? It's super easy.

- Monday, April 19th: Creating a Zero Waste Home - ONLINE EVENT. Starts at 7pm via Facebook Live. Hosted by local expert, Julie Fathy. Register in advance at the link above.
- Thursday, April 22nd: Earth Day Seed Exchange in Manhattan - (123 S Broadway St, Manhattan) Happening at the Education and Outreach Center in Manhattan, Montana. You can sign up for the Gallatin Pollinator Initiative program and get FREE SEEDS to plant in your garden. Let's protect the pollinators!!
- Thursday, April 22nd: Earth Day 2021 at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park - volunteer event, on-site. Happening from 9am to 12:30pm. "Please bring work gloves, sturdy shoes, a water bottle, a mask, and clothing for outdoor work. If you have any tools for moving dirt or removing weeds, it is also recommended that you bring them."
- Friday, April 23rd: Drawing Together - an evening of wine and cheese and climate advocacy - FREE ONLINE EVENT. Starts at 5:30pm but registration in advance is required.
- Saturday, April 24th: Earth Day in the Parks at Gallatin County Regional Park - ALSO, events at Story Mill Park! The Gallatin Regional Park will host a Fun Run, exhibits and children's activities starting at 9am. The Fun Run is limited to 125 participants. Story Mill Park will have Bird Walks at 8am and 10am. If none of these options fit into your schedule this week, make your own event! Small gestures such as picking up trash in your neighborhood or on an area trail is a great idea. Grab the kiddos and let them help!
